The Old Lewesians Telephone Information Line

The Old Lewesians have launched their new automated Telephone Information Line which will send spoken Old Lewesian news to members on their home telephone. This will allow members without internet access, previously dependent on postal mail from the OLO, to hear the very latest news on various topics simply by making a cheap telephone call to the dedicated phone number. Members with internet access will be informed of all important developments on the website or from our broadcast emails. They do not need this service unless they give up using the internet. If you wish to have access to this service please apply to olowebby@old-lewesians.org.uk or read "Let Me Tell You" on the Members Pages.

The Old Lewesians RSS News Feed

The Old Lewesians now have this RSS News Feed facility to bring the latest OLO news to members with internet access. The News Feed page is what you are reading at this very moment. When you go to the Old Lewesians website you will be alerted to the existence of this news feed and be invited to "subscribe". If you do (I recommend it) you will have the very latest news from the OLO delivered automatically to your browser (you will find it stored in "Favorites/Feeds" on your browser). This facility is not a replacement for the "What's New" page. If you click the green arrow above you can read more on this topic.

The Old Lewesians Reunion 2010

The Old Lewesians Reunion will be held at the Priory School, Lewes on Saturday 4th September 2010. The arrangements will be broadly similar to those in previous years.	There will be an afternoon reunion in the Priory School from 12 noon until 6 pm. This will include a short welcoming address from John Davey, our chairman, followed by a Cordon Bleu Buffet Lunch with a Licenced Bar. At 3.30 pm there will be a special Chapel Service of Remembrance and Rededication,	with an address from the Bishop of Lewes. There will be afternoon tea and cakes at 4.30 pm. At 5pm there will be a Farewell Assembly. Doors will close at 6 pm. For those who wish to extend their visit and entertain their friends there will be a Dinner from 7 pm to 10pm at the White Hart Hotel as in previous years. Members may, if they wish, bring up to three guests - wife, partner, helper, relative or friends. You may come to the reunion, the dinner or both as you wish. Details can now be seen on the "Reunions" index where you will also find a ticket application form which you can print off and send to Eric Mears. Booking started at the Easter weekend and you can see who has already booked on the "Show Bookings" page.
Currently 212 tickets for the lunchtime session have been sold.
Chapel seats - at 167 - are very nearly sold out.
61 diners have booked dinner at the White Hart.
Although the official deadline has now passed, we can probably accept a few more applications if you get them in very quickly.
