The picture, in water-colour, brings out in its perspective and its mellow tints, two of the principle charms of Sir Edward Maufe's design. The cream walls and grey tiled roof have been chosen to harmonise with the chalk country which forms the distant background to the chapel. Grace is added to the building by the proportions of the campanile. The whole effect is one of distinction obtained within a small compass. It is intended to start building shortly.
